Tata Steel bags the ‘National Award for Outstanding Achievement in Industrial Relations’
Tata Steel has been honored with the ‘National Award for Outstanding Achievement in Industrial Relations’ by All India Organisation of Employers (AIOE).The award was presented at the Annual General Meeting of AIOE held on May 9, 2016 in Federation House, Delhi.
On behalf of Tata Steel, the award was received by Mr Suresh Dutt Tripathy, Vice President,Human Resource Management, Tata Steel. Mr Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister of Labour & Employment, Government of India presented the award.
The award recognizes organizations across industries that have outstanding industrial relations.The evaluation for the award was done in a three step process. Firstly, through an application submitted based on the jury criteria followed by a regional presentation round where each zone was represented by eight to ten companies and finally the national round held on May 9, 2016 with ten finalists.
