The Dimna Lake, Jamshedpur, is an artificial lake created by Tata Steel almost 67 years ago. Situated at the foothills of the scenic Dalma ranges, the lake is 13 kms away from city limits. The lake serves as the water reservoir for the Steel Plant and also the main source of drinking water for the city. It is also an ideal spot for boating and other water sports activities.
