Paradeep port & Bhubaneswar is about 120 kms by Road from the Plant. The Bamnipal plant is 30 MVA Closed submerged arc furnace installed with technical collaboration from Voest Alpine and Outokumpu.

The plant is ISO:9001 (2000 version) and ISO:14000 certified. The annual market offering of HC FeCr is around 140,000 tonnes.
