At the heart of the Ferro Chrome and Chromite Mines of Orissa, TSRDS has taken up the onus of building capacity within the rural communities of Sukinda and Bamnipal so that they possess skills for livelihood sustenance. Being a mining area, the land extends very limited support to agriculture. Thus, allied activities are the focal point of TSRDS’ operations.

This year, 50 farmer families benefitted while an additional 35 families received assistance for economic development.
