Tata Steel received the “Tata Affirmative Action Program (TAAP) Jury’s Award 2015-16”

Tata Steel has been conferred the ‘Tata Affirmative Action Program’ (TAAP) Jury’s Award – 2016 for the fourth year in succession. This year's TAAP Jury Award has been shared between Tata Steel and Tata Motors. The Award was given by Mr. Cyrus P Mistry, Group Chairman, Tata Sons at Mumbai. The jury was headed by Dr RA Mashelkar and included Dr Narendra Jadhav; MP Rajya Sabha, Professor S Parasuraman, Director TISS; Mr.  B.Muthuraman, Dr Mukund Rajan, member Group Executive Council (GEC); Dr N S Rajan, member GEC and Head of the Group AA Forum.The results of the Tata Affirmative Action Program (TAAP) Jury Recognition’s- 2016 were announced at the Award ceremony held on 6 th May 2016 at Mumbai during the annual ‘TAAP’ Affirmative Action (AA) convention. Eighteen Tata companies had taken part in this year’s external assessment.The TAAP Jury’s Award is given to companies which cross the score band of 600 (out of 1000) in the assessment process.
