Tata Steel has won the “Performance Excellence Award 2015 (Platinum Category)”
Tata Steel has won the Performance Excellence Award 2015(Platinum Category) at the 20th CEOs Conference organized by Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE) held on June 24, 2016 at Hotel Le Meridian Nagpur. This award is in recognition of the achievements in the areas of Financial & Operational Performance and Productivity Improvement.
The award was handed over jointly by Mr R H Khwaja, Former Secretary Ministry of Mines &Tourism, Government of India and Mr P Madhusudhan CMD - RINL. It was received by a team from Tata Steel comprising of Mr Sandeep Dhir, Chief HRM - JSR Steel, Mr Biren Ramesh Bhuta,Chief, CSR and Mr Rama Shanker Singh, Head, Productivity Services.
IIIE conducts CEOs conference every year. It is attended by Chief & Top Executive Officers comprising of Chairmen, Managing Directors, Directors at Board Level, Unit Heads, Presidents,Vice Presidents, Senior Executives of private and public enterprises, Heads of Academic and Financial Institutions, etc. The theme for this year was: ‘Smart villages: Pillars for sustainable industrial growth & Rural Development’. Mr Biren Bhuta presented the highlights of various CSR initiatives by Tata Steel in the conference.
